Even though I have to give myself a C- for beautifying our new house, I was able to scour the web and pull together this round-up for Babble of 14 Beautiful and Inexpensive Dinner Plates.
You can see more of our family’s plates, as well as a bunch of others for as cheap as $1, in this post about cheap but pretty plates.

Hey TS,
You are so right, IKEA is a great place to look for cheap plates. And I love how you can use them for parties instead of paper. Great point!

We host a lot of cookouts for family and friends, and were quickly dismayed by how many paper plates we were throwing away. As a result, we bought 8 plates at IKEA for $1 each and another 8 at Target (they cost more, but I had a gift card) so that we could wash and reuse them, but not worry about losing our china to breakage. However, the cookout plates are not at all lovely!
