My kids LOVE stomp rockets, but we are always running out of rockets. (My son has landed quite a few of them on top of our roof.)

Here’s another good toy (more expensive at $20): my kids have had HOURS of fun with the Pumponator Balloon Pumping Station. It is a little pump that blows up water balloons. This one toy entertained six children recently for about three hours — quite a bang for my buck. Plus there are plenty of water balloons left over for hours more fun later this summer.

By the way, I would have commented over at Parentables, but I’m the last person on the face of the earth without a Facebook account!

No Facebook account? So THAT’s your secret to being productive, Nihara!

I’m so glad you like stomp rockets too. Know what you mean about roofs and trees. (You can get refill rocket packs.)

And thank you so much for the great tip about the water-balloon maker. I love that it occupied 6 kids for a full 3 hours — fantastic!

Thanks so much for writing in,
      Amy
